Activity Description
Day 1 Panama
Arrival to Panama at Tocumén International Airport welcome and transfer
to your hotel. Overnight at Aloft Hotel, standard room
Meals Included: Dinner

Day 2 Panama City
Private transfer to the Train Station overland to the Colon area. The train departs at 07:15 a.m.
Arrive at Colon for panoramic sightseeing including Cristobal Colon Monument and transfer to the new Aguas Claras Locks Panama Canal.
After this visit, continues to Portobelo to visit: the town, Portobelo Museum, San Felipe Church, castle, and the old buildings (the ruins of old
Spanish fort) Overnight at Aloft Hotel, standard room
Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner at downtown Casco Antiguo colonial city restaurant.

Day 3 Panama – Managua, Nicaragua
Private transfer to the Tocumén International Airport, to take the flight from Panama to Managua, Nicaragua (Not included). Arrival transfer from Managua to Leon for a walking city tour of Leon: visiting Leon Viejo Park, Ruben Dario Museum, Cathedral, and the Art
Museum. Overnight at El Convento Hotel, executive room
Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner El Convento

Day 4 Leon – Managua – Granada
Private transfer to Managua. Managua time for panoramic sightseeing: including Old Cathedral, the Tiscapa Lagoon, and the Malecon Waterfront. On route visit the Masaya Volcano National Park. Plaza Colon
Overnight at Plaza Colon Hotel, superior room
Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner at Aqua Lounge Restaurant & Bar.

Day 5 Granada
Transfer to the Islets Port. Boat tour through the Islets on the Nicaragua
Lake. Ride on a horse-drawn carriage to the Nicaragua Lake. Walking city tour at Granada: visiting the Church of La Merced, Convento de San Francisco, and Casa de Los Leones.
Overnight at Plaza Colon Hotel, superior room
Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner at a local restaurant Plaza Colon

Day 6 Granada – Ometepe – Peñas Blancas Border Nicaragua– Costa Rica
Private overland transfer from Granada to San Carlos, by boat transfer to Ometepe Island, to visit: - Archaeological Museum. - Ometepe Church. - Ojo de Agua natural spring pool filled with crystal clear water from an underground river that comes from Vlcano Maderas.
Important to mention: The transportation permitted in Ometepe will be by Toyota Hiace minibus (capacity of 12 passengers). Return to take the ferry and continue overland to Peñas Blancas border and then Rincon de la Vieja
National Park.

Day 7 Rincón de la Vieja National Park
Morning visit to Rincon de la Vieja National Park, Las Pailas section: Walking through the trails around the forest of the volcano base: Emanations of boiling mud, boiling water, and vapors that resonate in the environment.
The Rincon de la Vieja National Park is the only active volcano in the Guanacaste Mountain Range, their volcanic elements can be found right in their surroundings. The abundance of flora and fauna and diversity of habitats makes this area one of the most ecologically diverse refuges in Guanacaste
Lunch included at the hotel. Afternoon at leisure or for optional activities.

Day 8 Rincón de la Vieja National Park – Arenal Volcano area
Transfer to the Arenal area including a floating trip at Corobici River: A tranquil floating trip with Class I and II rapids that will satisfy any nature lover and mellow adventurer. The tropical dry forest is full of many bird species and mammals. This trip is perfect for families with young children or folks who are just looking to relax on the river while taking in the forest and scenery. Lunch included during the floating trip.
Afternoon visit to enjoy Tabacòn Hot Springs: Discover Costa Rica´s largest network of naturally flowing thermal mineral springs in Arenal’s largest and most beautiful private, rainforest reserve. Tabacon is flanked by the beautiful Arenal Volcano at one end and the Arenal Volcano National Park on the other. The road here literally takes you to the heard of the jungle, so expect the sounds and sights of the native flora and fauna to flood your senses. This is where the thermal experience begins. Including dinner.

Day 9 Arenal Volcano area
Visit the hanging bridges: Discovering the wonderful secrets hidden in this forest means finding a wildlife sanctuary; the high density of biodiversity makes trails a unique place for observing species spotted along the way. Pay special attention to the different layers of the rainforest, from the treetops, the understory, and the forest floor; this way you will be able to appreciate many of the species housed by this spectacular biological corridor. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon at leisure or for optional activities: Christmas dinner at the hotel.

Day 10 Arenal Volcano area – Sarapiqui Rain Forest
In the morning, tour to Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge. Transfer from the Arenal area to Sarapiqui. Visit a pineapple plantation: We proudly welcome

Day 11 Sarapiqui Rain Forest
Tour at Sarapiqui River (motorboat): Perfect activity to observe nature, birds, the forest, and animals such as iguanas, monkeys, and crocodiles. Lunch included. Chocolate tour at Tirimbina Reserve: Join on the best chocolate tour and taste one of the most delectable food from the rainforest. During this tour you will be taken through the rainforest across the longest hanging bridge in the region to a traditional cacao plantation where you will have
the opportunity to taste the cacao bean at its different stages in the process of making chocolate and also be involved with different preparations of it, so make sure your appetite is ready.

Day 12 Sarapiqui Rain Forest – Juan Santamaria International Airport – Panama
Transfer, on route visit to Doka Estate Coffee Tour including lunch: This Coffee Plantation Costa Rica is a 600 acres Farm and Theme Park that offers a unique experience where you can take a closer look at the most historical and cultural crops in our country. This coffee plantation has been dedicated to coffee production since 1931. This Costa Rica coffee tour will show you different cultivation methods and age-old brewing techniques. There is an old coffee mill located on the Estate premises that were built at the beginning of the last century; it is the oldest wet mill still powered by spring waters that run down the mountains. In 2003 the mill was declared Historical and Architectural Heritage, still functional it maintains its original structure and
machinery. During this educational Costa Rican coffee tour you will experience how the plantation employees strive to obtain the perfect balance between nature and science. Afternoon transfer to the Juan Santamaria International Airport to take your flight to Panama.

Day 13 Panama
After breakfast, a Panama City Tour including visits to Miraflores locks, Fuerte Amador, Casco Antiguo, and The Old Panama City Ruins. Transfer to Tocumen International Airport to take your flight back home.
