Iceland is a country in Europe. Its known by its spectacular landscape with volcanoes, hot springs and lava fields. It has huge protected glaciers in National Parks, such as, Vatnajökull and Snæfellsjökull. Iceland is one of the best places in the world to see the aurora borealis, or northern lights.
