The Traveller DMC commenced operations in 2005 in Singapore as a Destination Management Company providing a full suite of ground operations with a focus on Leisure and MICE inbound travel into Singapore. It opened its Malaysia office subsequently in 2008 and currently has a staff strength of close to 50 specialists across both countries. Through the 2020-2021 season, The Traveller Group saw itself reimagining its business and launched a tours arm – Origin Journeys. The Traveller Group could now develop and control the quality of its own private tours and create highly tailor-made solutions for its demanding clientele. 2022 also saw The Traveller enter into a joint-venture with Anderes Fourdy, a market-leading Professional Congress Organiser in the region, to expand its offerings to large group movements. The strong, ongoing support of clients continues to be testament of The Traveller’s ability to deliver and to stay relevant in creating tailor-made travel experiences for customers worldwide. The Company’s philosophy of “one size does not fit all” is something that its founders stand by firmly; it believes in revealing each destination with an authenticity beyond the reach of any other travel company. They have provided tailormade FIT, GIT, Series and MICE travel services over the years. Some of their clients include global banks, pharmaceutical companies, multi-national companies and leading tour operators from the USA, UK, Europe, Middle East, India China, Australia, Philippines and other ASEAN countries. The Traveller works closely in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board to maintain momentum through their ongoing campaigns and its contribution to the travel industry has been recognised through the attainment of numerous awards, including the prestigious Best Inbound Travel Award by Singapore Tatler for over a decade. They are a member of the Singapore Association of Convention Exhibition (SACEOS), United States Tour Operator Association (USTOA) and are one of the first in Singapore to be certified by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).
