Activity Description
Day 1: Arrival in Vienna
Stay: Eco-friendly hotel (e.g., Boutique hotel Stadthalle, a zero-energy hotel)
Activities:
·Take a guided walking tour to explore Vienna’s historic center (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Wander the streets of this beautiful city and sample the famous pastries or visit Hotel Sacher and enjoy the famous Sacher Torte.
·Visit: Schönbrunn Palace & Gardens – the Summer Place of the Habsburgs and the Hofburg Palace which was used as the Winter Palace.
Day 2: Vienna – Nature and Green Spaces
Activities:
·Cycling Tour along the Danube River
·Visit Vienna Woods (Wienerwald), a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Hike eco-friendly trails and explore wildlife, forests, and vineyards.
·In the evening relax at a local SPA using natural resources like thermal waters.
Day 3: Travel to Wachau Valley (Train)
Take a scenic train ride from Vienna to Wachau Valley (approx. 1 hour).
